What is Home Instruction?

Home Instruction Schools provides educational services for all school aged children (grades K-12) who are unable to attend school due to orthopedic, non-orthopedic/medical, or psychiatric reasons.

Home Instruction Schools services students in all five boroughs of NYC. Home Instruction is an interim, non-diploma granting program. Home Instruction provides academic services to limit the educational effects of a long-term absence (four weeks or more).

Home Instruction operates during day and after-school hours.

Home Instruction,

Welcome Back!!

The 2019- 2020 schools promises to be rigorous and productive!

Our dedicated teachers and staff were committed to providing the best educational experiences possible. But you, our parents and families, were an important part of that experience as well.

As Autumn nears and we see the brightness of Summer come to a close, remember the to carry the joys and laughter of the Summer sun thorough the whole year.

Please always Stay safe!!

Yesterday's 9/11 Day of Remembrance stands as a reminder that when we unite we are our strongest.  We are all champions and together we always achieve more.

Best wishes,

Ramona
