
Per Session Teacher Application
Thank you for considering working with us! Please read the directions and follow all instructions carefully.
Please follow these directions:

New to Per Session with Home Instruction only: If you have never worked Per Session with Home Instruction Schools, click "Sign Up" and use your DOE email to sign up.
Forgot password: Otherwise, log in with your DOE email address and the password you used to sign up last year or the last time you worked with us.

New to Per Session with Home Instruction and Password Reset only: Check your email. It can take up to 10 minutes to receive your email. Check your junk box if you do not receive the email.

All teachers: Apply only once per school year and only once per summer school session. Log in using your DOE login information and the password you use for the registration website. Note that this password is not the same as your DOE email password. If you do not recall your password, go back to Step 1.

Did my application get submitted successfully? Your application is submitted when you see green text stating that your application has been submitted. If you see any other notification, including notifications that are unclear, look for any missing or mistyped information and click submit a second time. Keep doing this until your application is submitted successfully. ​​

Do not resubmit your application. Please email Jimmy Rice at JRiceiii@schools.nyc.gov with your concerns regarding application verification or password resets.​​​

Day teacher application ONLY: If you are interested in teaching with Home Instruction during the regular school day, we accept applications during the open market transfer period only. When the open market transfer period starts, please submit your resume to our principal and principal's secretary. Hiring occurs during the open market transfer period.
