PID Teacher Application

Please follow these directions:

Warning: This application is for Summer 2026 PID ONLY. If you seek to apply for Per Session which ends early June 2026, please contact your per session coordinator.
 

1. There is a new application system to which you must register. The new application is at HomeFrame.io/pid/login, This site is separate from the DOE application system, so you will create a password that is unique to this site.
    

2. Wait for the confirmation email and all other emails. It can take up to 60 minutes to receive your application confirmation email and all other automated emails. Please be patient and do not contact your Per Session Coordinator until 60 minutes after you've registered if you still have not received your confirmation emails.
    

3. Apply only once per summer school session. Log in using your DOE email address and the password you created for the HomeFrame.io website. Note that this password is not the same as your DOE email password. If you do not recall your password, go back to Step 1. 
    

4. Did my application get submitted successfully? If you clicked submit and the page does not tell you to edit anything on the page, then your application was submitted successfully. However, if the application asks you to make changes, please make those changes accurately and click Submit again. If there is a field that you cannot edit, please email Jimmy Rice at JRiceiii@schools.nyc.gov.​​
    

5. Do not resubmit your application. Please email Jimmy Rice at JRiceiii@schools.nyc.gov with your concerns regarding application verification or password resets.​​​
    

6. Day teacher application ONLY: If you are interested in teaching with Home Instruction during the regular school day, we accept applications during the open market transfer period only. When the open market transfer period starts, please submit your resume and cover letter to our principal and principal's secretary.
